Aluminium etching by Kelly HattWorking initially with collage and pens, her paper based drawings inspire a collection of mixed media illustrations which combine dyed fabrics, hand embroidery, perspex and metal. Aluminium etched table by Kelly Hatt"As a designer maker, beautiful images are extremely important in communicating my surfaces to the audience, particularly online where they can not touch and experience the product in the same way. Since working with the mix of aluminium etching and hand embroidered fabrics, I have found them challenging to photograph so decided to enlist the help of Salisbury commercial and product photographer, John Rose Photography".

"Studio manager, Mandy was extremely helpful with quick communication via email throughout. I found this invaluable as I had a limited time to have my design photographed and apply for an exhibition before the deadline. While photographing my work, John supplied intial test shots for me to choose exactly what kind of lighting I prefered and to ensure the final images were exactly what I required. I found this very interesting and crucial to receiving images that I really loved as a result."

Aluminium etching by Kelly Hatt"I felt reasurred that my work was being looked after in the studio which meant a lot to me as I have spent many hours etching, painting, embroidering and generally staring at them in my studio! I would definitley recommend John Rose Photography to anyone who is looking for a great service and beautiful results."

"As a designer, I can now create postcards, business cards, update my website and apply for exhibitions knowing that my work is shown in the best possible way with these high quality images."
